THE DESIGNER

Founder Rochelle Behrens knows intimately the link between beautiful things and business. Having toggled between these dual interests during internships at W magazine, and then the White House, and as a double major in Art History and Political Science at the University of Pennsylvania, she finally settled into a job in politics in Washington, DC.

Working as a professional taught her a few things:

Finding versatile and pretty but professional clothes was not as easy it seemed.

Classic button down shirts, always de rigueur, also always fit improperly.

Drawing inspiration from her colleagues, classic design, and her mother's well-edited personal dress code, Rochelle decided to create professional clothes that are accessible without being prosaic. Along the way she is attempting to eradicate poorly fitting button down shirts from the closets of women everywhere.
